Depends on the fountain, but they don’t usually attract mosquitoes as I imagine they would prefer calm, still water. Fountains are usually peaceful, though.

We have two of them. They make a nice addition to the garden and the birds love them as well. If you have a problem with mosquitoes there are simple treatments you can add to eliminate the mosquito larvae.

Fountains bring peaceful energy as well as white noise to an area.

The water of an active fountain can’t sustain mosquitos. It is the still water of a fountain turned off for long periods w/ standing water that will attract them. Vinegar in the water will stop them. Also citronella candles or spray will run them from the area.

Also the water need to stay clean if birds will drink it. Leave out the vinegar

QVC or HSN has solar fountains that will not cost you. They are large ones and look beautiful.
Table top ones are nice as well as larger ones for bigger areas. There are also wall mounted units that take up no space.
