Many people may think their garden is not big enough to house a garden water feature but that is where they would be wrong; with the addition of a Garden Water Fountain any size of any outdoor space will have room for one of these amazing features.

There are a number of different garden water fountains which will be suitable for different areas of the garden. So what styles are there and how can they be integrated into your garden, below are just some of the ideas of how you could integrate a garden water fountain into your existing garden layout. One thing to remember is there are no hard and fast rules as to how a garden fountain should be incorporated and generally it comes down to personal preference.

Traditional Styles â?? These are one of the most common versions of garden water fountains and grace homes throughout the world. Traditionally the fountains were made of stone and sometimes they would be referred to as bird baths, the designs have evolved since then but the essence of the early designs is still in place. With virtually an unlimited number of fountains in all different shapes and sizes from grand Venetian designs through to more modest small roman jar versions you can create as bigger or smaller impact as you would like.

Contemporary Styles â?? The world moves on and so do the garden water fountains; there are now a whole host of contemporary modern designs for the modern day garden. The use of more unusual shapes is what sets these apart and designs can include the likes of outdoor spheres, ceramic cascade coloured designs and outdoor jar designs to name just a few. Again there is the use of different materials such as steel, copper and glass and this really does create a really excellent collection of modern decorative outdoor items.

If you were thinking of buying one of the garden water fountains then you would need to consider where they are most effectively placed. There are a number of areas that are most common within the garden and these include the patio, decking areas, near to or integrated into ponds or added to the garden border or a garden arrangement. Due to the fact there are so many types of garden water fountains for the consumer too choose from they are easily integrated into any part of the garden. The freestanding design is perfect for the patio or decking and can add a touch of colour and creative flare to what otherwise could be a plain area. Or why not decorate the border of your garden by adding one of the bird bath style garden water fountains which are ideal for attracting the wildlife and helping the ecosystem whilst also creating a decorative feature for people to admire.
