Our final destination is the life of the Hereafter. Where we end up, Jannah (Paradise) or Jahannam (Hell-fire) depends on what we worked towards in this life. Paradise is the aim and the hope of every Muslim. But like trying to attain any goal, in order to achieve success, one must have a well-defined plan, [...]

The hunchback in the park

Drinking water from the chained cup
That [...]

This evening I was sitting in my house around 10pm. I heard something hitting my window, like someone throwing stones. It hit 3-4 times very hard. I thought they were the next building neighbor’s kids. They ring the bells and escape sometimes. I thought they’re playing. I went out to my back garden and walked [...]

What are her poems “My heart and I” and “A Denial” about?
My heart and I
ENOUGH ! we’re tired, my heart and I.
We sit beside the headstone thus,
And wish that name were carved for us.
The moss reprints more tenderly
The hard types of the mason’s knife,
As heaven’s sweet life renews earth’s life
With which we’re tired, my heart [...]

Our wedding is following a Japanese/Zen garden style wedding. Our colors will probably be dark browns, creams, whites, greens and possibly a pink/purple color which will be present in the flowers. We are planning on using things like orchids/bear grass/bamboo/bonsai trees/magnolia/cherry blossoms. Nothing is set in stone yet so we are kind of just trying [...]

I remember sitting at a nice garden in Paris. Directly facing me was a huge cathedral with a statue of a head resting in a palm (very Dali-esque), made of stone, on the ground (beside entrance).(It has been graffited with green paint)
The seating area was around some fountains, and the entire walk area was set [...]
